Med Logistics Malta Ltd (Known as MDL), was established in Malta in 2008 by Tarros Group. As an independent managed entity it has been operating in the Mediterranea Sea as the cross-trade arm of Tarros. Over the years, MDL has created an efficient agency network which has enriched its presence in the market – MDL counts on the strong professional ties that it has with its Agencies which are located all over the Mediterranean basin.
Recently MDL has decided to expand its operations by offering its know-how and agency set-up to various Shipping lines which require the services of a sound and robust agency network within the Mediterranean and Black Sea. Thanks to its agency network, MDL-Medlogistics, has extended its activities as Shipping Agency, NVOCC and Shipping Container trader and offering its own independent services to any Shipping line or freight forwarder which needs assistance within the Mediterranean and Black Sea.

NVOCC
MDL is a non-vessel operator, which operates in various shipping routes in and out the Mediterranean basin. It ships containerised cargo and issues its own Bills of Lading.

Shipping Agency Network
MDL offers an extended network of well organised shipping agents throughout the Mediterranean and Black Sea. It is willing to provide the benefits of its network to any operator who may be interested in extending their commercial activities in these areas. We are the entry point for any professional wishing to transport goods within the Med and Black Sea area.
This service is extremely specialised and tailor-made to meet the requirements of each specific client.
Container Trade
We buy, sell and lease containers of all types and we presently have a fleet of over 7000 containers which are located in various countries. We do our utmost to supply our customers with any specialised equipment that they may need to transport their goods.
The Container Trade functions by assisting our clients in finding the right type of container in the desired location. MDL aims to continuously increasing its container stock thereby enabling it to get equipment wherever the need arises whilst at the same time supplying our equipment through a global network.
We have several depot and location services across the Mediterranean Sea which we use to the benefit of our clients.
